To get another kind of look at Nicaragua and to get to see the Pacific coast as well, we decided to head to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua’s main beach resort. We stayed only one day there, but had time to do the most important things you should do in a place like this: sit on the beach drinking piña coladas, swim in the ocean, watch the sunset from the beach drinking red wine and eating tasty cheese, and grabbing a delicious pizza with ice cold white wine for dinner.
